PREPARATION
1.
Preheat the oven to 375F.
WILTING THE TOMATOES

Wash and dry the tomatoes.
3.
Very lightly oil the bottom of a baking pan and add the tomatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the tomatoes begin to wilt and split.
PREPARING THE PASTA

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook until just tender, about 8 minutes.

Drain and toss in olive oil. Set aside.
PREPARING THE SAUSAGE

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the sausage rounds in a single layer. Add garlic and cook until sausage is browned and cooked through, 7 to 10 minutes.
TO SERVE

Toss cooked sausage with pasta, basil, tomatoes, cheese, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Serve warm or at room temperature.
